After completing her schooling, Suchismita enrolled at Revenshaw College in Cuttack, where she graduated with a degree. Cuttack, known as the silver city, with its rich cultural heritage, further inspired her to pursue her passion.
Suchismita's fascination with jewellery design grew, inspired by her friends and her friend's mother. She decided to pursue her passion and enrolled at the National Institute of Fashion Design in Bhubaneswar. The institute provided her with a solid foundation in fashion design and she excelled in her studies.
After completing her course, Suchismita moved to Delhi, where she landed a job in the fashion industry. Although she gained valuable experience, she soon felt the call of her native Odisha. The desire to return to her roots and make a difference in her community led her to leave her job and start her own startup as a boutique.
In addition to her work as a designer, Suchismita is also an active member of the All Odisha Designers Association. As an executive member and finance head, she plays a key role in promoting the work of designers from Odisha and providing a platform for them to showcase their talents.
Throughout her journey, Suchismita has remained committed to her passion for design and her desire to make a positive impact on her community. Her story serves as an inspiration to young designers and entrepreneurs, demonstrating that with hard work, determination and a willingness to take risks, one can achieve their dreams.
