About Us

All Odisha Designers Association is a registered society operating across the state of Odisha. We are a collective built on one belief: that Odisha’s creative community deserves a powerful, unified voice.

Who We Are

We are an association of designers, artists, artisans, weavers and performing artists — bound together by a shared passion for creativity, culture and craft. We represent the full spectrum of Odisha’s creative talent, from the digital designers shaping tomorrow’s visual world to the master craftspeople preserving centuries-old traditions.

What We Stand For

Designers & Artists — Our primary focus is on nurturing and empowering designers and visual artists across all disciplines — including Fashion Design, Textile Design, Visual Art, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, UI/UX, Animation, Photography, Digital Art, VR/AR, AI-generated Art, Sustainable Design and more. We champion painters, sculptors, illustrators and creative professionals who are shaping Odisha’s design identity today.

Artisans & Handicrafts — We promote and preserve over 90 traditional Odia craft forms including Pattachitra, Dhokra Casting, Silver Filigree, Applique, Tribal Paintings and many more, ensuring these living traditions thrive alongside modern design.

Handloom & Weavers — We celebrate Odisha’s extraordinary weaving heritage — from Sambalpuri Ikat and Khandua to Bomkai, Berhampuri Patta and rare tribal weaves — connecting weavers to markets and recognition they deserve.

Performing Arts — We support classical and folk performers including Odissi dancers, sambalpuri artists, Gotipua practitioners and musicians of traditional instruments, honouring the performing heart of Odia culture.

Education & Innovation — We invest in skill development, design incubation, startup support, IPR awareness and certification programmes that help creatives build sustainable careers.

What We Do

We connect our community through fashion show, exhibitions, workshops, camp, festivals, award ceremonies, seminar, residency programmes and international exchange programmes. We facilitate product selling, export opportunities and e-commerce access for our members. We work with government and private organisations to create meaningful employment for creative professionals across Odisha.

Beyond the creative sector, we are also active in women and children empowerment, environmental protection and community welfare — believing that a thriving creative community grows best within a thriving society.
